Happy birthday to my 圆圆, 矮矮, 脚短短的爸爸.. 😂😌 All my growing up years i remember papa to be working, working, working.. He’s held all sorts of jobs before, just so that our big family can scrape by every day. He’s been a hawker, durian seller, dish collector, trishaw rider.. And held many many more odd jobs just so that he could give us our daily school pocket money, let us buy our concession card to take bus to school, pay the electricity bill on time so we don’t have our lights and everything cut off ever so often 😂 And also so that we don’t have to find high and low ransack the whole house for food, to finally find a packet of instant noodle to share among the 5 of us sisters 😂 @fillet1703 @eachlovechip @pearlang @pigpigrocks 😌 Add more water to the soup base and we each can have a mouthful of two, with more soup, yes?
Never once i see him give up. I always look forward to hearing his quick footsteps as he come home from a long day of work. Cox that means food time for us 😍 He will bring back food or bring us out for supper.. Now that he’s 71 years old.. He’s footsteps much slower, and the things that he can enjoy also become lesser and lesser as age catch up on him.. But for as long as i can.. And i believe it’s the same for my sisters too.. That we’d keep letting papa experience new things in life.. Like how papa would have let us, whenever he could find the time and money.. Happy birthday to my papa, thank you for giving me life, and teaching me about life through your resilience.. I see how you never once gave up no matter how hard life got, and i tell myself my papa 养大 6 girls and one wife also can, why i cannot 😂
I hope now papa feel he can 享清福, just 看看孙, 看电视, 出去走走, 看世界.. ❤️ This is him on the viewing deck of @marinabaysands ❤️ It was an eye opener for him ☺️
